Placement
Students will be placed in the appropriate level after taking the placement examination.
Class attendance and grade evaluation
- Mid-term in the 5th week and final in the 10th week of every semester.
- Three late arrivals to the class is considered 1 absence.
- If you attend more than 75% during one semester and score 60 or more on the test, you can complete it. If the attendance rate is not satisfactory, you will get a warning. If you get two warnings, you will be held back or transferred.
Scholarships
Excellence award: Upon completion of the summer and winter semester, Korean Language School students with good grades and good attitudes in each class will be eligible for a scholarship.
Perfect attendance: Upon completion of the summer and winter semester, Korean Language School students with good attendance and a good study attitude will be awarded a small prize.
Those who completed the KLS courses can receive a scholarship when entering college
Return Home
If you have to return to your home country for any reason during the semester, you must submit the ‘Reason for Return Form’ to the administration office. The school will not be held responsible for any issues arising from failure to report.

Alien Registration(D4)
Students entering Korea for the first time must complete their alien registration within 30 days of entering the country.
Required documents:
- 1. Application form
- 2. Passport
- 3. Passport photo
- 4. Certificate of enrollment
- 7. Certificate of residence confirmation
(Office of International Affairs issues it to those who stay at on-campus housing, and others must submit their housing contract.) - 8. Visa Extension (D4)
D4 visas are generally available for six months and you must submit the following documents two weeks prior to the visa expiration date.- 1. Application form
- 2. Passport
- 3. Certificate of alien registration
- 4. Certificate of enrollment
- 5. Transcript and certificate of enrollment
- 6. Bank statement
- 7. Certificate of residence confirmation
