The Dragon shows its strength, wisdom, vitality, and auspiciousness and has embraced the history, tradition, joys, and sorrows of 5000 years of the people in Korea. The spirit and mind of Gangneung-Wonju National University through integration between universities are shown with the symbol of the Dragon.
