Advanced Metal and Materials Engineering is based on engineering applied to various fields, such as element parts and the material itself, by preparing, processing, and manufacturing material utilizing basic science such as physics and chemistry.

In other words, it links science and engineering by dealing with the control of bonding or combinations between atoms, changes of the manufacturing process, the correlation between microstructures and properties of materials to develop new application materials.

Therefore, we teach the basic concepts of fundamental components of materials such as electrons and atoms, as well as engineering techniques applied to modern industries, including material synthesis, manufacturing processes, and physical properties evaluation. Finally, we aim to educate students who will be responsible for the next generation of new advanced material as engineers with a broad knowledge of metal material engineering theory and technology.
