The Dept. of International Commerce and Area Studies researches and educates on international economy and trade issues, which are intertwined with political & economic interests and cultural & geographical differences.

We teach the theoretical basis to understand international economic relations and provide lectures to cultivate practical skills. In addition, we help students to enhance their foreign language and information processing ability to become international trade experts with expertise and problem-solving skills.

Students can be assisted in acquiring internationally recognized certificates such as customs broker, international trader, logistics manager, CPA and AICPA, and CFA through the curriculum. After graduation, they can also find careers in government agencies, private companies, foreign companies, international organizations or enter into trade business, distribution, and logistics businesses.
